RE/MAX Australia is the official real estate sponsor of Camp Quality, a wonderful national not-for-profit organisation that runs ongoing recreational and educational programs for children living with cancer and their families.

With its "Fun Therapy" philosophy, Camp Quality aims to enrich the lives of sick children and bring them some happiness during a very difficult time. Among its activities are a recreational and camping program, educational puppet program and family assistance packages.

Since 1999, RE/MAX Australia has helped to raise a total of $700,000 for Camp Quality through fundraisers, events and donation pledges from salespeople. In 2006 alone, RE/MAX Australia raised an amazing $86,887.93.

More than 5,000 children attend approximately 125 camps each year. The puppet program tours schools across Australia with performances using life-size puppets about children with cancer.

The family assistance packages provide funds for families struggling financially and pay for siblings to also attend the camps - giving parents a much-needed rest. Many RE/MAX salespeople pledge a percentage of their commissions to Camp Quality. It takes just $550 to send one child to camp and RE/MAX Sales Associates and Broker/Owners want to achieve this for as many children as possible.
